caro, is a stationery brand operated by Caro Stationery Ltda. Our website is carostationery.com. For any privacy-related enquiry, contact us at concierge@carostationery.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect the information you provide directly: name, email address, company name, and shipping address when you submit a contact form, trade application, or place an order. We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, session duration) via cookies when you consent.
3. How we use your data
Your data is used solely to fulfil your order or enquiry, communicate with you about your account, and improve the website experience. We do not sell your data to third parties, use it for advertising purposes, or share it beyond the services required to run our business.
4. Who we share it with
We work with the following service providers, each subject to their own privacy policy: Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (transactional email), Prodigi (print and fulfilment), and Wise (payment invoicing). Each receives only the data necessary for their function.
5. Cookies
We use cookies to understand how visitors use caro, and to improve the site. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. Essential cookies (session management) cannot be declined as they are required for the site to function.
6. Data retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Order records are kept for up to 7 years for accounting purposes. Contact and application data not resulting in an active account is deleted after 2 years.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may also request a copy of your data or withdraw consent for marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, write to concierge@carostationery.com.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date below. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
